National Electricity Market Overview - elearning and face-to-face

With reduced restrictions around the country, a selected number of AEMO instructor-led courses will be scheduled for in-person delivery. These will remain subject to any change to restriction levels, and participants will need to comply with all government requirements in order to attend.

The popular National Electricity Market (NEM) Overview course broadly covers the NEM and its operational requirements. The course runs for a full day (in-person) or for 2 half-day sessions in the same week (virtual).

Learning outcomes:

Attendees of the course will gain a broad understanding of how the NEM operates as a physical power system and a wholesale market for electricity.
