2022 Integrated System Plan (ISP)

Current Status

Planning for the 2022 ISP has recently begun. On 30 October 2020, AEMO released the 2022 ISP Timetable which provides key milestones for the 2022 ISP. In the coming weeks, AEMO will finalise the establishment of a consumer panel which will help to inform the development of the 2022 ISP.

2022 ISP Timetable 

The ISP Timetable provides stakeholders with the key milestones of the ISP 2022 including the establishment of the Consumer Panel and dates for the release of the Inputs, Assumptions and Scenarios Report, the ISP Methodology, the Draft ISP and the ISP.

Key milestones relating to the 2022 ISP are shown below.

2022 ISP Consumer Panel

On 3 September, AEMO called for Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for membership of the 2022 ISP Consumer Panel. The Consumer Panel will engage in depth with AEMO throughout the ISP development process, including by providing detailed written assessments of the Inputs, Assumptions and Scenarios Report and the Draft ISP. 

The Panel will be in place until after the publication of the 2022 ISP. More information is provided in the Call for EOIs and Terms of Reference, below. For further information please email Stakeholderrelations@aemo.com.au.
