AEMO encourages all interested stakeholders to get involved in the development of the Integrated System Plan (ISP), the roadmap for the NEM’s transition.

The involvement of energy industry stakeholders, consumer and community representatives, governments, market bodies, investors, developers and network planners is essential to develop a robust plan for the development of the energy system, for the benefit of all Australians as the transition progresses.

To keep stakeholders up to date with developments in relation to the 2028 ISP, AEMO releases updates in the form of regular newsletters. Each ISP newsletter features a section from the ISP Consumer Panel in their own words. Newsletters in relation to the 2026 ISP can be found at 2026 ISP News.

AEMO will release the first 2028 ISP newsletter in September 2026. Interested stakeholders can subscribe to the ISP mailing list, and newsletters will also be made available for viewing below.
