Mr Andrew (Drew) Clarke AO PSM – Chairman
Mr Clarke has been a leader in energy policy in Australia since 2003. From 2003 to 2013, Mr Clarke served in progressively more senior roles under both Coalition and Labor Governments, including terms as Deputy Secretary and Secretary of the Department of Resources, Energy and Tourism.
During this period, Mr Clarke led the Commonwealth’s actions in the creation of the National Energy Market Rules and the three market bodies, served as the Chair of the Senior Committee of Officials (Commonwealth, State, Territory) under the COAG Ministerial Council on Energy, and led national and international energy policy development for Australia, including key leadership on climate change and resource development policies. He also helped establish the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) and the Global Carbon Capture and Storage Institute, and was Australia’s member on the Governing Board of the International Energy Agency.
Mr Clarke was awarded Order of Australia in 2016 for distinguished service to public administration, and is a Fellow of the Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering.

Mr Jon Hubbard
Mr Jon Hubbard is a former partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers and a former director of CS Energy. He has extensive experience in the energy, utility, and resource sectors, as well as a strong accounting and finance background. During his advisory career, Jon specialised in providing advice to the energy industry in the areas of corporate strategy, industry reform, mergers and acquisitions, regulation, climate change, and renewable energy.

Ms Sibylle Krieger
Ms Krieger is a former partner with Clayton Utz and is a director or trustee of several companies and organisations including the Tasmanian Water and Sewerage Corporation, the Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney, and Sydney Grammar School and Foundation. Her former appointments include directorships of Allconnex Water and the Sydney Ports Corporation, and IPART Tribunal Member. Ms Krieger was also a member of the Dispute Resolution Panel for the National Electricity Market and the gas markets.
Ms Krieger has over 30 years of broad commercial experience as a lawyer, non-executive director, and economic regulator with particular focus on utilities and monopoly infrastructure.

Dr Peter Davis
Dr Davis is the former Chief Executive Officer of Aurora Energy. Dr Davis has a deep and current knowledge of the energy industry, having worked in the retail, distribution, and generation sectors over the past 25 years.
Dr Davis holds a Master of Business Administration, Doctor of Philosophy, Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Science (Honours), and a Company Directors Diploma. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Engineers Australia and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Mr John Pittard
Mr Pittard has been a leader in digital and technology-led transformation across a number of industry sectors in Australia, including Media, Telecommunications and Resources.
Mr Pittard is Chairman of RXP Services Limited and non-executive director of Barnardos Australia. He has previously held senior executive roles with some of Australia’s largest corporations, including NewsCorp Australia, Telstra, Pioneer International, and Shell Australia and has been a Director of a number of disruptive digital companies, including REA Group and CareerOne Limited. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Ms Betsy Donaghey
Ms Betsy Donaghey has over 30 years of energy and resources sector experience.
Her most recent Board level experience has included terms at Imdex Ltd, St Barbara and the Australian Renewable Energy Agency. In her corporate career, Betsy has held senior strategy, regulatory and business development executive positions at EnergyAustralia, Woodside Petroleum and BHP Petroleum. Betsy is a dual citizen of both the United States of America and Australia.

Mr Tony Concannon
Mr Tony Concannon is an Executive (and Non-Executive) Director with more than 30 years of experience within the power sector.
He is a chartered power engineer, with international experience in governance, investor relations, operations management, finance and risk management. Of note, Tony was Chairman of the Electricity Supply Association of Australia (now known as the Energy Council of Australia) from 2009 to 2011, and in 2013 he held the role of CEO Asia-Pacific for GDF SUEZ Energy. In early 2015, Tony started up a large-scale solar PV business and in 2016 he was appointed to the Tasmanian Government energy security Taskforce following the drought and undersea cable failure in late 2015.

Mr Nino Ficca
As the Managing Director AusNet Services Limited and its predecessor, SP AusNet, since 2001, Mr Nino Ficca has extensive senior experience in strategic and operational roles within the energy sector, including the National Electricity Market and the gas markets.
In his current role, he successfully led the company during almost two decades of rapid change and significant challenges, including acquisitions and restructures. By background, Mr Ficca is an electrical engineer, with a deep understanding of energy transmission and distribution grids and their importance in maintaining secure, reliable and high performing systems and in underpinning effective markets.
He is the immediate past chairman of the Energy Networks Association, and a past chair of CIGRE Australia.
In addition to several companies in the AusNet Services group, Mr Ficca is also a non-executive director of the Transurban Queensland Group.

Ms Anne Nolan
Ms Anne Nolan is a former senior public servant with the State of Western Australia and was also the inaugural chief executive of the Independent Market Operator for the Western Australian Wholesale Electricity Market (WEM).
Ms Nolan has had a distinguished career with the Western Australian public service, leading two government departments, as Director General of the Department of Finance and before that of the Department of State Development. The State Development role included working closely with large resource companies such as Chevron, Shell, BHP, Rio Tinto and Woodside in their large capital investment projects in Western Australia. Prior to that she served as the Deputy Director General, Cabinet and Policy Division in the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
Ms Nolan has been at the forefront of energy reform in Western Australia for most of the last two decades. As Chief Executive of the Office of Energy from 2002 – 2006, Ms Nolan was responsible for driving the reform agenda that saw the introduction of a competitive electricity market in the WEM and an independent third-party network access regime and the disaggregation of Western Power.
Ms Nolan is currently non-executive director on the Fremantle Port Authority, the University of Western Australia Business School and the Western Australian Symphony Orchestra.
