AEMO ELECTRICITY MARKET NOTICE

The Forecast LOR2 condition in the Vic region advised in AEMO Electricity Market Notice No. 58475 has been updated at 1600 hrs 04/05/2017 to the following:

1. From 1730 hrs to 1900 hrs on 10/05/2017.
The contingency capacity reserve required is 594 MW.
The minimum reserve available is 519 MW.

2. From 0700 hrs to 1030 hrs on 11/05/2017.
The contingency capacity reserve required is 594 MW.
The minimum reserve available is 311 MW.

3. From 1330 hrs to 2030 hrs on 11/05/2017.
The contingency capacity reserve required is 594 MW.
The minimum reserve available is 0 MW.

AEMO is seeking a market response.

AEMO will determine the latest time at which they would need to intervene through an AEMO intervention event.

The Forecast LOR2 condition in the SA region advised in AEMO Electricity Market Notice No. 58476 has been updated at 1600 hrs 04/05/2017 to the following:

1. From 0800 hrs to 0830 hrs on 11/05/2017.
The contingency capacity reserve required is 350 MW.
The minimum reserve available is 311 MW.

2. From 1730 hrs to 1800 hrs on 11/05/2017.
The contingency capacity reserve required is 350 MW.
The minimum reserve available is 2 MW.

AEMO is seeking a market response.

AEMO will determine the latest time at which they would need to intervene through an AEMO intervention event.

AEMO declares a Forecast LOR2 condition under clause 4.8.4(c) of the National Electricity Rules for the VIC region for the following periods:

1. From 1730 hrs to 1900 hrs on 10/05/2017.
The contingency capacity reserve required is 594 MW.
The minimum reserve available is 506 MW.

2. From 0700 hrs to 1030 hrs on 11/05/2017.
The contingency capacity reserve required is 594 MW.
The minimum reserve available is 357 MW.

3. From 1400 hrs to 1600 hrs on 11/05/2017.
The contingency capacity reserve required is 594 MW.
The minimum reserve available is 512 MW.

4. From 1630 hrs to 2000 hrs on 11/05/2017.
The contingency capacity reserve required is 594 MW.
The minimum reserve available is 0 MW.

Update to AEMO Electricity Market Notice 58432, 58439, 58441, 58447 and 58450

The AEMO Intervention Event concluded in the Dispatch Interval 1210 hrs 26/04/17

AEMO issued 2 directions to participants in the South Australia region in accordance with section 116 of the National Electricity Law.
Direction 1 from 0234 hrs 25/04/17 to 1415 hrs 25/04/17 (see MN 58432)
Direction 2 from 0745 hrs 25/04/17 to 1207 hrs 26/04/17 (see MN 58439)

To minimise the effect on interconnector flows and minimise the number of Affected Participants in accordance with clause 4.8.9(h) of the National Electricity Rules, AEMO applied two constraints to generating units in the South Australia region
