Until further notice all operational matters will be handled by the Sydney Control Centre

An Actual LOR1 condition has been declared for the SA Region from 1745 hrs.
The Actual LOR1 condition is forecast to exist until 2030 hrs
The contingency capacity reserve required is 440 MW
The minimum reserve available is 342 MW

During this outage, South Australia (SA) will remain connected to the NEM via the Tailem Bend - South East No.1 275kV line and the 132kV network.

A trip of the Tailem Bend - South East No. 1 275kV line will sever the 275 kV connections between the NEM and SA. SA will remain connected to the NEM via the 132kV network, which if it remains in service will pose a system security issue.

In the event of a trip of the Tailem Bend - South East No. 1 275kV line, AEMO will invoke FCAS regulation constraint sets F-S_LREG_0035 and F-S_RREG_0035

In addition,? AEMO will take all necessary steps as outlined in Section 6.1 of SO-OP-3715 Power System Security Guideline to separate the 132kV network and therefore manage an orderly separation of SA from the NEM.?

During this outage, South Australia (SA) will remain connected to the NEM via the Tailem Bend - South East No.1 275kV line and the 132kV network.
