Scheduled Maintenance will be performed on the EMMS MarketNet web application production environment.

You need to be aware of the change, but no action is necessary.

EMMS MarketNet web access will operate as normal during the changes. No outage is expected, although you may be logged out and need to log in again.
For example, participants who use the VAr Dispatch web portal will need to re-enter their login and password credentials when next accessing the web site after.

The web addresses (URL) used to access the web pages remain unchanged.
- The AEMO redirection page: https://menu.prod.nemnet.net.au/
- The combined portal: https://portal.prod.nemnet.net.au/
- The older EMMS portal: https://mms.prod.nemnet.net.au/
(The two portals serve up the same EMMS web pages.)

Some users may have book marked other addresses that may no longer work. These are addresses that contain the characters "mms2". The "2" has been removed, so you can adjust these as required.

AEMO has determined market prices, relating to the SA Market Suspension, that apply for the period from 16:05 AEST 28th September Wednesday to 24:00 AEST 3rd October Monday) These prices have been loaded into AEMO's Market Systems and published to participants via Data Interchange and to AEMO's public website.
Timing:
AEMO is planning to continue this process tomorrow as market price calculations are progressively finalised for the ongoing period of market suspension, and anticipates this process to conclude 1 business day after the market suspension has been lifted.
Participant Impact and Requirements: If you have downstream processes or systems that may have used existing prices please review to determine any potential impact. As this is a rare event AEMO would like to make sure participants are aware of these changes to market data and that this will result in a large volume of retrospective price data being delivered over AEMO's Data Interchange systems. AEMO will be staggering these data updates to minimise any impacts on AEMO and participants systems due to data volumes. The updated reports will modify existing dispatch and trading prices (previously indicated as firm) in participants Electricity Data Models. AEMO is also planning to rerun our prudential systems to account for updated prices once market prices are loaded. Which will result in updated prudential information being published. While we do not expect any issues, in relation to participants who have a local Electricity Data Model, given the rarity of this event participants are encouraged to validate any impacts on their own downstream systems that may rely on this information.
