Correction - Non-credible contingency event - Silverton - NSW region - 28/09/2021
Correction to Market Notice 91277
At 2233 hrs the Broken Hill - Silverton X6 220 kV Line, the Silverton 220kV/33kV Transformer (which disconnected Silverton Wind Farm) and the Broken Hill Solar Farm tripped.
AEMO did not instruct load shedding.
AEMO has not been advised of any disconnection of bulk electrical load.
The cause of this non credible contingency event is not known at this stage.

The cause of this non-credible contingency event has been identified and AEMO is satisfied that another occurrence of this event is unlikely under the current circumstances.

At 0925 hrs the Springvale No. 1 220 kV busbar was returned to service.
Further investigation has identified that this was a credible contingency event.
