ELECTRICITY MARKET SUSPENSION NOTICE
AEMO declares the spot market to be suspended.
The Spot Market is suspended at 1625 hrs on 28/09/2016 in the South Australia region
The reason for the suspension is that:
The power system has collapsed to a black system in the SA region.

FCAS Raise regulation requirements were increased to manage time error to within standards.
The following constraint was invoked to manage lower regulation requirements.

FCAS Lower regulation requirements were increased to manage time error to within standards.

F-MAIN_LREG_400 invoked from 0905 hrs.

Planned DAILY outage of Moorabool to Tarrone 500kV line in Victoria region from 05/10/2016 0430 hrs to 07/10/2016 1700 hrs
This market notice is FOR INFORMATION ONLY.
The Moorabool to Tarrone 500kV line in Victoria Region is planned out of service on a daily basis from 0430 hrs on 05 October 2016 to 1700 hrs on 07 October 2016.
During this outage, a credible contingency can separate South Australia region from the rest of the NEM.
Under these circumstances, 35 MW of Raise and Lower regulation FCAS will be sourced from South Australia for the duration of this outage. In addition, consistent with AEMO existing procedures, adequate contingency FCAS lower requirements will also be sourced from South Australia at times when power transfer is from South Australia to Victoria.
The following constraint sets have been invoked for this outage:

Planned outage of Heywood to South East No.2 275 kV line in South Australia and Victoria regions from 18/10/2016 0700 hrs to 20/10/2016 1700 hrs
This market notice is FOR INFORMATION ONLY.
The Heywood to South East No.2 275 kV line in South Australia and Victoria regions is planned out of service from 0700 hrs on 18 October 2016 to 1700 hrs on 20 October 2016. During this outage, Heywood 500/275 kV M2 transformer will be off-loaded

Victorian region 500 kV transmission line outage withdrawn

Please be advised that the planned outage for today, 14 Sept 16, of the Moorabool-Mortlake 500kV line has been withdrawn by the TNSP.
Constraints are now being adjusted to cater for this change.

AEMO has become aware of the following circumstance with respect to the power system,
At 1630 hrs a major Industrial load in the Queensland Region has reduced from 920 MW toward 0 MW over a 25 minute period.
