AEMO ELECTRICITY MARKET NOTICE
Direction - SA region 20/06/2025
In accordance with section 116 of the National Electricity Law, AEMO has issued a direction to a participant in the SA region. For the purposes of the National Electricity Rules this is a direction under clause 4.8.9(a1)(1).
The issue of the direction commences an AEMO intervention event. AEMO declares all trading intervals during the event to be intervention trading intervals, commencing from the interval ending 1605 hrs on 20/06/2025.
Intervention pricing does not apply to this AEMO intervention event.
AEMO may issue or revoke additional directions in order to meet the current requirement, unless sufficient market response is provided. A further market notice will be issued when all directions related to this requirement have been cancelled.

AEMO declares a Forecast LOR1 condition under clause 4.8.4(b) of the National Electricity Rules for the NSW region for the following periods:
1. From 0600 hrs to 0800 hrs 19/06/2025.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1558 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 1420 MW.
2. From 1630 hrs to 2300 hrs 19/06/2025.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1558 MW.
