STPASA - Forecast Lack Of Reserve Level 1 (LOR1) in the VIC Region on 10/06/2025
AEMO declares a Forecast LOR1 condition under clause 4.8.4(b) of the National Electricity Rules for the VIC region for the following periods:
From 0730 hrs 10/06/2025 to 0900 hrs 10/06/2025.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1163 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 925 MW.
AEMO Operations
Reclassification of non-credible contingency event due to existence of widespread abnormal condition/s - SA region.
AEMO has identified that a non-credible contingency event impacting the power system is more likely to occur and is considered reasonably possible because of the existence of widespread abnormal conditions namely severe weather in the SA region.
AEMO has therefore reclassified the occurrence of a non-credible contingency event involving multiple plant due to these abnormal conditions as credible.
AEMO has taken the following action to maintain power system security at 1250 hrs 07/06/2025.

Need for further measures is being monitored and further measures may be implemented in line with the Power System Security Guidelines (SO_OP_3715).
