AEMO ELECTRICITY MARKET NOTICE.

Planned outages of Moorabool-Sydenham No.1 500 kV line and Sydenham-South Morang No.1 500 kV line - Victoria Region on 25 May and 30 May 2016.

Update to planned outage at Tailem Bend - SA Region 17 May 2016

Update to planned outage at Tailem Bend - SA Region 17 May 2016

There is currently a planned outage of the Tailem Bend 275kV East Bus. Commencing at 0830 hrs 17/05/16, the outage is extended and will also offload the Tailem Bend - Cherry Gardens 275 kV line. During this outage, a trip of the Tailem Bend - Tunkilo 275 kV line severs the 275 kV connections between Victoria and South Australia regions. Should this contingency occur, AEMO will invoke the following FCAS regulation constraint sets.

F-S_LREG_0035
F-S_RREG_0035

For this contingency, the two regions remain connected by the 132 KV network but the next contingency will result in separation of Victoria and South Australia regions.

Refer to AEMO Network Outage Schedule (NOS) for further details
