RE: AEMO Electricity Market Notice No. 54157.
NOTICE OF UPDATE
AEMO declares forecast LOR2 conditions for the South Australia region for the following periods:
From 04/07/2016 1800 hrs to 2000 hrs
The contingency capacity reserve required is 200 MW
The minimum reserve available is 110 MW
AEMO is seeking a market response.
AEMO will determine the latest time at which it would need to intervene through an AEMO intervention event.

Network Augmentation Commissioned - South Australia Region - 15 June 2016
A network augmentation has been commissioned in the South Australia Region
The Mt Lock 275 kV Sub Station was commissioned at 1630 hrs 15 June 2016. Mt Lock substation has been cut into the former Canowie - Davenport 275 kV Line to form two new transmission lines, Canowie - Mt Lock 275 kV Line and Davenport - Mt Lock 275 kV Line.

Changes to raise FCAS requirements in Tasmania
Refer to AEMO Electricity market notice 51618
The adaptive under-frequency load shedding scheme (AUFLS) was implemented in January 2016 to reduce the contingency raise FCAS requirements in Tasmania. TasNetworks has advised AEMO this scheme was disabled at 1000 hrs 8 June 2016. Tasmanian contingency FCAS requirements now do not use the reduction provided by this scheme.
