At 0340 hrs at H12 Mt England the following lines have tripped and remain out of service,
the Wivenhoe PS 823 and 824 275 kV lines,
the South Pine 825 275 kV line, and
the Tarong 8812 275 kV line which tripped and has auto re-closed.

AEMO did not instruct load shedding.

AEMO has not been advised of any disconnection of bulk electrical load.

The cause of this non credible contingency event is not known at this stage.

the 63 Wagga - Darlington Pt. 330 kV transmission line
the 64 LowerTumut - Upper Tumut 330 kV transmission line
the 66 Murray - LowerTumut 330 kV transmission line
tripped.
The X5 220 kV line and
07 Lower Tumut - Canberra 330 kV lines deloaded.

AEMO did not instruct load shedding.

AEMO has not been advised of any disconnection of bulk electrical load.

The cause of this non credible contingency event is not known at this stage.

At 1943 hrs the Munmorah 330 kV Main Busbar tripped and the Munmorah -Tuggerah 2M 330 kV transmission line opened at Munmorah.

The cause of this non credible contingency event has been identified and AEMO is satisfied that another occurrence of this event is unlikely under the current circumstances.

AEMO will not reclassify this non credible contingency.

Update to MN 56988

At Heywood terminal station the SESS No2 Line /M2 Transformer 275kV circuit breaker opened automatically at 0731 hrs. This off loaded the HYTS 500/275 kV M2 transformer.

At 1425 hrs the SESS No2 Line /M2 Transformer 275kV circuit breaker at Heywood terminal station was returned to service.

The cause of this non-credible contingency event has been identified and AEMO is satisfied that another occurrence of this event is unlikely under the current circumstances.

AEMO will not reclassify this event as a credible contingency event.

The following constraint set were revoked at 1435 hrs.
