At 1803 hrs 19/11/2022, Tailem Bend - South East No 1 275 kV Line was returned to service.
At 1805 hrs 23/11/2022, Tailem Bend - South East No 2 275kV Line was returned to service.
The cause of this non-credible contingency event has been identified and AEMO is satisfied that another occurrence of this event is unlikely under the current circumstances.
AEMO will not reclassify this event as a credible contingency event.

South Australia is now re-synchronised with the Eastern NEM.

At 1049 hrs the Newport - Brooklyn 220 kV Line tripped at Newport and Newport No1 220 kV Bus tripped.
AEMO did not instruct load shedding.
AEMO has not been advised of any disconnection of bulk electrical load.
The cause of this non credible contingency event has been identified and AEMO is satisfied that another occurrence of this event is unlikely under the current circumstances.
AEMO will not reclassify this event as a credible contingency event.

Description of event - Multiple tripping of transmission lines
Transmission element(s) tripped - Tailem Bend - South East 275 kV No 1 and 2 Lines
Region - SA
Identified islands formed as a result of this contingency event - SA and Eastern NEM
AEMO has been advised that the Tailem Bend - South East No 1 and 2 Lines will remain out of service until 1700 hrs 18/11/2022.
