Planned Outage - MSATS Pre-production Data refresh (CATS and MDM)
Environment: Pre-Production
Participant Impact and Requirements:
The purpose of this change is to advise participants that the MSATS pre-production data (for CATS and MDM databases) will be refreshed from production data. The aim of this data refresh is to update pre-production with production data in preparation for 5 minute settlement Dress Rehearsals in 2021 .
Implications of Change
The data refresh will be from MSATS production data as of approximately Thursday 10th December 2020.
Participants should be aware that:
o Pre-production will be unavailable for the duration of the refresh (See Timing Of Change)
o AEMO will be testing a new refresh process that could potentially shorten the Refresh outage period, participants will be notified of the outage completion which may be earlier than the notified outage.
o Any test NMI data configurations within the pre-production environment will be over written; and
o Pre-production participant passwords will be retained.
The following actions will also be undertaken:
o Pending reports from production will be stopped and will not execute in pre-production.
o Change requests will continue to process in pre-production after the copy. Notifications as a result of these change requests being processed will be delivered in pre-production.
