An AEMO Intervention Event has been implemented by issuing a direction to maintain the power system in a secure operating state.
AEMO declares all dispatch intervals during the AEMO Intervention Event to be intervention price dispatch intervals.
The AEMO Intervention Event commenced in the 0430 hrs 02/09/17 dispatch interval and is forecast to apply until 0630 hrs 04/09/17.
Intervention pricing will be implemented from the 0930 hrs dispatch interval 02/09/17 until the end of the AEMO Intervention Event.

AEMO has identified an issue with the Intervention Pricing implemented from the 0930 hrs dispatch interval. The intervention prices are not reflective of the dispatch prices and ancillary service prices had the Intervention Event not occurred.
AEMO is endeavouring to resolve the issue as soon as possible and will provide a further update when available.
