AEMO Intervention Event, Reliability and Emergency Reserve Trader (RERT)- VIC Region- Friday , 19 January 2018
Refer to AEMO Electricity Market Notice no 60795
AEMO has entered into a reserve contract and may implement a AEMO Intervention Event by dispatching that reserve contract to maintain the power system in a reliable operating state during the following period of time;
1430 hrs to 1830 hrs. 19/01/2018
AEMO will issue a further advice if the reserve contract is activated.

AEMO ELECTRICITY MARKET NOTICE.
Direction - South Australia Region - 12/01/2018
In accordance with section 116 of the National Electricity Law AEMO has issued multiple directions to participants in the South Australia region.
The directions are necessary to maintain the power system in a secure operating state.
The directions are issued from 2030 hrs 12/01/2018,
The directions are expected to stay in place until 0600 hrs 15/01/2018
For the purposes of the National Electricity Rules these directions are under clause 4.8.9(a).

Based on revised information AEMO estimates that, in the absence of sufficient market response by 12/01/2018 21:00, AEMO may need to issue a Direction requiring one or more SA synchronous generating unit(s) to operate or remain synchronised from 13/01/2018 01:00 to 15/01/2018 05:30, to maintain sufficient system strength in SA.
