ACTUAL NEGATIVE SETTLEMENT RESIDUES - NSW to VIC - 20 May 2024.

Electricity Market outcomes have resulted in the accumulation of negative settlement residues that have exceeded the allowable negative residue threshold for the NSW to VIC directional interconnector.

The negative residue constraint set NRM_NSW1_VIC1 commenced operating from 1730 hrs on 20 May 2024.

This constraint set contains an equation with the following interconnectors on the LHS:
VIC1-NSW1

The RHS of the constraint equation may be adjusted to manage residues.

Participant Impact and Requirements: AEMO's FRC Gas Hub web services need to have their server certificates updated every year with new certificates to replace the xpiring one.

Participants connecting to these endpoints or receiving requests from AEMO's FRC Gas Hub platforms and have authorisation mechanisms like certificate fingerprinting in place will notice a change in AEMO's server's certificate fingerprint and will need to update their systems accordingly.

The certificate relates to "FBS-Test-Hub.aemo.com.au" certificate and relates to the following domains.

From 0000 hrs to 0130 hrs 23/05/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1640 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 1422 MW.

1. From 0600 hrs to 0800 hrs 22/05/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1630 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 1386 MW.

2. From 1630 hrs to 2359 hrs 22/05/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1610 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 1337 MW.
