Updated generator combinations for SA
Refer to market notice 92769
AEMO has published new generator combinations for South Australia:
- 1 for four synchronous condenser operation
- 9 for two synchronous condenser operation
Details on the new combinations and conditions for their use is in the updated limits advice (which was published earlier today):

Update to System strength requirements in North Queensland
Refer to market notice 89836
AEMO and Powerlink are continuing to investigate system strength requirements in North Queensland.
Due to commissioning of Haughton syncon, the system normal equations have been revised.
A revision to the constraint equations will be implemented at 0900hrs on Friday 14th January 2022.
The new combinations have now published in a limits advice document on AEMO's website: For more information refer to the new limits advice: https://www.aemo.com.au/energy-systems/electricity/national-electricity-market-nem/system-operations/congestion-information-resource/limits-advice
This advice contains all the combinations for Queensland for system normal cases.
The constraint equation in the Q-NIL set of the form below will be modified:
Q_NIL_STRGTH_CLRSF
Q_NIL_STRGTH_COLSF
Q_NIL_STRGTH_DAYSF
Q_NIL_STRGTH_HAMSF
Q_NIL_STRGTH_HAUSF
Q_NIL_STRGTH_HAYSF
Q_NIL_STRGTH_KEP
Q_NIL_STRGTH_KIDSF
Q_NIL_STRGTH_MEWF
Q_NIL_STRGTH_RUGSF
Q_NIL_STRGTH_RRSF
Q_NIL_STRGTH_SMSF
Q_NIL_STRGTH_WHTSF

Update to system normal constraint equation in NSW for voltage collapse at Darlington Point
Refer to Market Notice 90954
TransGrid has advised AEMO of a revision to the Darlington Point to Wagga (63) 330 kV line voltage collapse limit due to changes in a control scheme in the area. With this change the current voltage collapse limit will be replaced by a transient voltage limit - and allow for increased flows on 63 line.
AEMO has reviewed the limit advice and will make the following constraint equation changes at 1300 hrs Wednesday 1st December 2021:
Add - N::N_NIL_63
Remove - N^^N_NIL_2
The limit is for pre-contingent flow on 63 line. The constraint equation includes generators in south-west NSW and north-west Victoria on the left-hand side as well as Murraylink.
