Re-issue of Price Revision reports for 01 December 2016
On 01 December 2016, AEMO issued market notices advising the dispatch prices for 39 dispatch intervals between 0135 hrs and 0455 hrs as subject to review by the Over Constrained Dispatch (OCD) process. Of these, the prices for two intervals (0135 hrs and 0140 hrs) were revised, and the price for two intervals (0150 hrs and 0155hrs) remained unchanged after resolution by the Manual OCD rerun process. The Manual OCD rerun process is detailed in AEMO's OCD Rerun Process Document available at: http://www.aemo.com.au/-/media/Files/Electricity/NEM/Security_and_Reliability/Congestion-Information/Over-Constrained-Dispatch-Rerun-Process.pdf.
In reviewing the prices for the remaining 35 intervals (all intervals between 0205 hrs and 0455 hrs), AEMO concluded these intervals do not require manual OCD rerun as per Section 3.2.4 of the OCD Rerun Process Document.
On 02 December 2016, AEMO published Market Notices confirming the prices for all subject to review intervals between 0135 hrs and 0455 hrs (39 intervals). AEMO also issued Price Revision reports to revise or confirm the prices for all 39 intervals. The Price Revision reports issued for the intervals between 0205 hrs and 0455 hrs, however, did not include updated timestamps and as a result some Participant systems may have rejected the new Price Revision data as a duplicate of the current data.
To resolve the issue associated with the price revision reports between 0205 hrs and 0455 hrs, AEMO has reissued these reports with updated timestamps today (09/12/2016).
