Low Reserve Condition Report

Every six months from the New WEM Commencement Day, under Chapter 3.17 of the Electricity System and Market (ESM) Rules, AEMO is required to publish a Low Reserve Condition Report.

The purpose of this publication is to communicate between AEMO Operations Planning, Market Participants, and Network Operators regarding Low Reserve Conditions over the past six months. By analysing historical LRC Declarations, outlining contributing factors, and actions taken, this report aims to provide insights for future planning.

This report includes: Records of any Low Reserve Condition (LRC) Declarations made during the reporting period.
