Publication of B2B Procedures v3.3.1 and v3.6 Final Report & Determination

This notice informs all B2B Parties, relevant B2B Change Parties, AEMO and other persons who identify themselves to the Information Exchange Committee (IEC) as interested in the B2B Procedures (Consulted Persons) that the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) has concluded a consultation on the proposed amendments to the B2B v3.3.1 and v3.6 Procedures. These amendments clarify existing processes in order to improve market efficiency.

* B2B Procedures v3.4.1 do not introduce any changes to the Procedures, but ensure the Service Order Process changes introduced in v3.3.1 are consolidated into v3.4. V3.4 will be immediately superseded by v3.4.1 as they have the same effective date.

This notice informs all B2B Parties, relevant B2B Change Parties, AEMO and other persons who identify themselves to the Information Exchange Committee (IEC) as interested in the B2B Procedures (Consulted Persons) that AEMO has published its Draft Report with regards to the consultation on B2B Procedures held on behalf of the Information Exchange Committee. This consultation is being completed in accordance with the Rules consultation requirements detailed in clause 8.9 of the National Electricity Rules (NER).

AEMO has published an Draft Report to continue its consultation on proposed amendments to the B2B Procedures and Guide. Submissions should be sent to AEMO by 4 November 2020. This notice informs all B2B Parties, relevant B2B Change Parties, AEMO and other persons who identify themselves to the Information Exchange Committee (IEC) as interested in the B2B Procedures (Consulted Persons) that AEMO is conducting a consultation on B2B Procedures on behalf of the Information Exchange Committee. This consultation is being completed in accordance with the Rules consultation requirements detailed in clause 8.9 of the National Electricity Rules (NER).

Matter under consultation

The matter for consultation is the following list of procedures which the IEC is proposing to amend under this consultation. 

AEMO has published an Issues Paper to consult on proposed amendments to the B2B Procedures and Guide. Submissions should be sent to AEMO by 22 September 2020. Further details regarding this consultation can be found in the Issues Paper.
