Notice of Consultation

AEMO gives notice of consultation on proposed changes to the STTM Procedures for the Short Term Trading Market (STTM) under Rule 135EE of the National Gas Rules.

This notice of consultation is dated 10 July 2015.

Proposed procedure changes

The proposed changes to the STTM Procedures are to reduce the scope of the definition of material involuntary curtailment to ensure a localised curtailment event does not result in trading participants with a short deviation paying for their deviation at the administered price cap despite not being responsible for, or contributing to, the curtailment.

Impact Implementation Report

AEMO has published an Impact and Implementation Report (IIR) below, which details the proposed changes to the STTM Procedures.
