Removal of Controlled Load Profile – NSW

The publication of this draft report commences AEMO’s expedited consultation on the proposal to amend the following relevant determinations, effective 1 September 2024, to remove the NSW jurisdictional metrology material related to controlled load profiles under the National Electricity Rules:

• Metrology Procedure: Part A.
• Metrology Procedure: Part B.
• MSATS Procedures: MDM Procedure.
• MSATS Procedures: CATS Procedure.
• Standing Data for MSATS document.

AEMO proposes to amend the Retail Procedures with the proposed effective date of 1 September 2024.
AEMO invites written submissions from interested persons on the Proposal in this draft report, to nem.retailprocedureconsultations@aemo.com.au, by 5:00pm (Sydney time) on 10 May 2024.

If any person considers that AEMO should instead follow the standard consultation procedure, the person can submit a procedure change request to AEMO within 10 business days after publication of this draft report. A request must be sent to nem.retailprocedureconsultations@aemo.com.au by 5:00pm (Sydney time) on 26 April 2024.
