Notice of Consultation
AEMO is consulting on proposed expedited amendments to the Gas Supply Hub Exchange Agreement (EA). The proposed changes are being consulted on following a proposal to amend the EA from Shell Energy Australia.
These amendments are open for public consultation from Friday 29th October 2021, with submissions closing by 5.00pm (EST) on Friday 12th November 2021. Consultation responses can be submitted directly to the AEMO at Hub_Reference@aemo.com.au.
Proposed changes to GSH Exchange Agreement
Amendment of the GSH Exchange Agreement to:
- Outline the process that GSH members must follow to cancel a restricted trading arrangement.
- Outline the timing and steps AEMO will follow on receipt of a request to cancel a restricted trading arrangement.
Following an amendment proposal from Shell Energy Australia, AEMO has published an Impact and Implementation Report (IIR) below, which details the proposed changes to the Exchange Agreement and associated documents.
Notice of determination
AEMO informs all Gas Supply Hub exchange members and other interested stakeholders that it has decided to make the proposed amendments to the Exchange Agreement. Version 15.2 of the Gas Supply Hub Exchange Agreement will be effective from 16 November 2021.
