Matter under consultation

Although formal consultation is not required under the National Electricity Rules (NER), AEMO conducted a targeted, non‑material consultation on the draft Guides in accordance with the consultation procedure (NER 8.9.3).

Submissions closed on 22 July 2026, and non-confidential submissions received are published below, as per AEMO’s consultation submission guidelines.

AEMO is currently reviewing submissions received through the consultation process and expects to publish the final Guides by 19 August 2026.
