On 24 March 2016 the Australian Energy Market Commission (AEMC) published the National Gas Amendment (DWGM-AMDQ Allocation) Rule 2016 No.1 (effective 25 October 2016) (the Rule Change).

AEMO has published Proposed Procedure Changes (PPC) to the following Wholesale Market Procedures under Rule 135EE of the National Gas Rules:

• Wholesale Market AMDQ Procedure – creating and incorporating new clauses for AMDQ Credit Certificate (AMDQ CC) Auction Procedures.
• Wholesale Market Uplift Procedures – inclusion of any AMDQ CC at Longford close proximity injection point (CPP) when determining uplift hedge.

 Gas Market Registered Participants and other interested parties are invited to submit comments on the Impact Implementation Report  to AEMO by 5pm, Friday 2 September 2016 via email to:GWCF_Correspondence@aemo.com.au
