Transitional Services - Type 1 Services
Type 1 Transitional Services enable AEMO to acquire power system security services that cannot otherwise be provided by an inertia network service, a system strength service, a market ancillary service or a NMAS (NER 3.11.11).
Statements of Need describe specific system-security challenges, and detail how interested participants can contribute to maintaining secure operation of the power system through the energy transition.
AEMO has published the following Statements of Need under NER clause 3.11.12(a), enabled by the Improving Security Frameworks (ISF) rule change which established the Type 1 Transitional Services Framework.
