Independent Expert Panel

AEMO engages a panel of Independent Experts from time to time to assess a range of claims including:

• Fair payment compensation or additional compensation following a direction.
• Adjustment claims following an intervention event.
• Additional compensation following a market suspension.
• Claims following system a system restart test.

In 2023 AEMO refreshed its Independent Expert Panel and updated its process for engaging Independent Experts to ensure it remains competitive and efficient. AEMO is not currently accepting responses for new Independent Experts.
