AusNet Services is undertaking this Regulatory Investment Test for Transmission (RIT-T) to evaluate options for maintaining supply reliability in south-eastern metropolitan Melbourne.

The Project Specification Consultation Report (PSCR), which represents the first step in the RIT-T process in accordance with clause 5.16 of the National Electricity Rules (NER)[1] and section 4.2 of the RIT-T Application Guidelines[2] was published in December 2019.  This report, the Project Assessment Draft Report (PADR), is the second stage of the RIT-T and provides information about the draft conclusions of the RIT-T.

No non-network proposals were received during the RIT-T PSCR consultation phase.

The preferred solution is replacement of the two 220/66 kV transformers, selected 66 kV circuit breakers and associated primary and secondary assets in a single integrated project.

AusNet Services welcomes written submissions on the issues and the credible options presented in this PADR. Submissions should be emailed to rittconsultations@ausnetservices.com.au on or before 20 October 2020. In the subject field, please reference ‘RIT-T PSCR East Rowville Terminal Station.’
