At 1357 hrs the Farrell -Tribute 220 kV line, Farrell - John Butters 220kV Lines and Farrell - Mackintosh 110kV Line tripped.
AEMO did not instruct load shedding.
AEMO has not been advised of any disconnection of bulk electrical load.
The cause of this non credible contingency event is not known at this stage.

At 1646 hrs the Farrell - Reece No.1 220 kV and Farrell - Reece No.2 220 kV lines tripped.
AEMO did not instruct load shedding.
AEMO has not been advised of any disconnection of bulk electrical load.
The cause of the trip was identified as due to lightning.
In accordance with SO_OP_3715, the Farrell - Reece No.1 and No.2 220 kV lines are considered vulnerable with a category of probable due to lightning.
At the time of the trip, Farrell - Reece No.1 220 kV and Farrell - Reece No.2 220 kV lines were not reclassified due to lightning.
AEMO considers the simultaneous trip of the following circuits to now be more likely and reasonably possible. Accordingly AEMO has reclassified it as a credible contingency event from 16:50 hrs until further notice.
