At 1938 hrs the Armidale - Tamworth 85 330kV Line tripped at Tamworth end only and the Armidale - Coffs Harbour 96C 132 kV Line tripped.
Both Lines auto reclosed sucessfully.
AEMO did not instruct load shedding.
AEMO has not been advised of any disconnection of bulk electrical load.
The cause of this non credible contingency event is not known at this stage.

At 0630 hrs 13/01/2019 the Innisfail No2 132kV Busbar was returned to service.
The cause of this non-credible contingency event has been identified and AEMO is satisfied that another occurrence of this event is unlikely under the current circumstances.
AEMO will not reclassify this event as a credible contingency event.

At 2133 hrs 09/01/2019 the following plant operated:
Strathmore No 1 SVC tripped,
Strathmore - Clare South (7208) 132 kV Line tripped and auto reclosed.
Collinsville North - Clare South Tee King Creek (7128) 132 kV Line tripped and auto reclosed.
The cause of this non credible contingency has been identified.
The SVC tripped on an unrelated issue. The TNSP advised this issue is unlikely to recur.
The two Transmission lines Strathmore - Clare Sth (7208) and Collinsville Nth - Clare Sth Tee King Creek (7128) tripped due lightning.
AEMO has therefore reclassified Strathmore - Clare Sth (7208) and Collinsville Nth - Clare Sth Tee King Creek (7128) 132 kV lines as a credible contingency due to lightning until further notice.

At 2133 hrs the Strathmore - Clare Sth (7208) 132 kV Line and the Collinsville Nth - Clare Sth Tee King Creek (7128) 132 kV Line tripped.
The cause of this non credible contingency event is still under investigation.
AEMO is not satisfied that this non credible event is unlikely to re-occur.
AEMO has therefore reclassified this event as a credible contingency event until further notice.
