AEMO ELECTRICITY MARKET NOTICE.
At 0729 hrs a power system event has occureed at Broken Hill 220 kV sub station resulting in total loss of supply at Broken Hill.
Approximately 40 MW of load was lost.
AEMO did not instruct load shedding.
Load is beinng progressively restored.
The cause of this contingency event is not known at this stage.
