AEMO has determined that the severe weather warning issued by the BOM presents an added risk to the power system in South Australia.
To manage power system security, AEMO has applied a network constraint to limit the flow on the VIC-SA interconnector in the Victoria to South Australia direction.
The following constraint set was invoked at 1700 hrs and will remain in place until further notice.
