Register as a Market Ancillary Service Provider (MASP) in the NEM

This page outlines the requirements for registering as a Market Ancillary Service Provider (MASP) in the National Electricity Market (NEM).

A MASP delivers market ancillary services in accordance with AEMO’s market ancillary services specifications, by offering a customer’s load, or an aggregation of loads into FCAS markets.

A MASP need not be the customer’s retailer. In practice, this may mean that while a customer has a retail supply contract with a retailer, a customer may also have a separate contract with a MASP to provide ancillary services.”

It also provides information for participants who are already registered as a MASP about classifying additional load as an ancillary service load.
