      • AEMO operates gas retail markets in New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria, and Western Australia. AEMO also operates wholesale gas markets in south-eastern Australia, those being the Declared Wholesale Gas Market in Victoria (DWGM), the Short Term Trading Market in Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney (STTM), and the Gas Supply Hub (GSH), whose trading locations are based at Wallumbilla in Queensland, and Moomba in South Australia. AEMO also operates the Natural Gas Services Bulletin Board (GBB), and is system operator of the Victorian Gas Declared Transmission System. AEMO is also responsible for Gas Services Information functions in Western Australia.

          At 0851 hrs, in the South Australia region the Tailem Bend to South East No.1 Line tripped in conjunction with the No.1 South East SVC.

          The following Constraint Sets have been invoked

          S-TBSE at 0900 hrs
          V-2RP at 0905 hrs
          S-SE_VC_1 at 0905 hrs

          These Constraint Sets contain equations with the following interconnector on the LHS

          NSW1-QLD1
          V-S-MNSP1
          V-SA
          VIC1-NSW1
          T-V-MNSP1

          Update to Market Notice 53526

          At 0851 hrs the South East - Tailem Bend No. 1 275 kV Line and the South East No. 1 275 kV SVC tripped.

          At 0930 hrs the South East - Tailem Bend No. 1 275 kV Line was returned to service
          At 1617 hrs the South East No. 1 275 kV SVC was returned to service

          The following Constraint Sets were revoked at 1630 hrs.

          The cause of this non credible contingency event has been identified and AEMO is satisfied that another occurrence of this event is unlikely under the current circumstances.
          AEMO will not reclassify this event as a credible contingency event.

          AEMO is currently experiencing a Telstra service outage to our internet access point within the AEMO QLD datacenter

          Impacts:
          Lan-2-Lan VPN Participants
          Participants whom have established their VPN connection/s via the AEMO QLD datacenter termination point (202.44.76.10) will be unable to establish a connection.

          Remote Access VPN Participants
          Participants whom have established their Remote Access VPN connection/s established via the AEMO QLD datacenter termination point (202.44.76.8) will be unable to establish a connection.

          User Requirements:
          Lan-2-Lan VPN participants are encouraged to failover their VPN connections to the alternate AEMO NSW datacenter termination point (202.44.78.10).
          Remote Access VPN Participants are encouraged to ensure they are connecting via the AEMO NSW datacenter VPN endpoint (202.44.78.8).

          Report any impacts to the AEMO Information and Support Hub or on External 1300 236 600.

          AEMO Telstra service outage to our internet access point within the AEMO QLD datacentre is now restored.

          Impacts:
          Participants connected to the AEMO QLD datacentre internet access point may have experienced issues as a result of the outage.
          This issue has been resolved and the service is now available for use.

          User Requirements:
          Participants are reminded that service is restored to the QLD datacentre.
          Both NSW and QLD datacentres are available for use and Participants can remain connected to their current internet access point.

          Reclassification of a Non-Credible Contingency Event: Collinsville North - Mackay Tee Proserpine 7125 and 7126 132 kV Lines in Queensland due to Lightning.

          Lightning is occurring near the Collinsville North - Mackay Tee Proserpine 7125 and 7126 132 kV Lines.

          AEMO considers the simultaneous trip of those circuits to now be more likely.

          Therefore AEMO has reclassified this as a credible contingency event from 2130 hrs 03/06/16 until further notice.

          There is no longer any lightning activity in the vicinity of the Collinsville North - Mackay Tee Proserpine 7125 and 7126 132 kV Lines.

          AEMO has cancelled the reclassification of the simultaneous trip of those circuits as a credible contingency event at 0150 hrs.
