aseXML is a standard developed by the Australian energy industry to facilitate the exchange of information between participants within the industry using XML. Gas Retail Markets in Victoria, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia send most messages that conform to aseXML standards.
AEMO has developed a Guidelines for the Development of A Standard for Energy transactions in XML (aseXML) that aims at providing guidance and advice to parties that are designing aseXML documents for use within their industries.
AEMO also publishes sample files and current and previous releases of the aseXML schemas.
