ISSUE #587 - 15 MARCH 2010
Bulletin No. 587 summarises the outcomes for period midnight Sunday 07th March to Saturday 13th March 2010.
Average maximum temperatures decreased in Adelaide, Hobart and Melbourne, and increased in Brisbane and Sydney.
Average prices during week 587 decreased in New South Wales, South Australia, Victoria and Tasmania, and increased in Queensland. The highest average price occurred in Queensland at $1687.64, and the lowest was in Queensland at $-58.22. The majority of prices fell in the $21 to $30 per MWh range.
Demand averages decreased in all the regions of the NEM. The regional demand high for the week was 11,054.9 MW in New South Wales, and the low was 939.5 MW in South Australia.Spot Market Price by Region
