Tim George, AEMO’s Executive General Manager Planning, invites you to attend a workshop to discuss the conclusions and contents of the two strategic planning documents AEMO published in December 2009: the National Transmission Statement Volume 1 & 2 (NTS), and the Gas Statement of Opportunities (GSOO).
Please note that copies of these documents can be downloaded free from our website using the above links.
We are undertaking a series of workshops in each of the State capitals to give you the opportunity to ask questions and express your views. Your feedback on these first AEMO publications is very important to us and will help to improve the service we provide. It also will be an excellent opportunity to meet you, which we very much look forward to.
A key objective for AEMO at these workshops is to obtain feedback on the usefulness of the results and the content of the reports from working level users of the reports.
Each workshop will be run in two halves. At all locations the first hour of the meeting will be devoted to the NTS, there will then be a break for refreshments and then a further hour on the GSOO. If you prefer you need only attend one part of the workshop.
In outline, the sessions will run as follows:
NTS:
- High level review of results by Tim George (15 mins)
- Feedback from you on the results (20 mins)
- Ideas for improvement for the 2010 NTNDP (20 mins)
- Summary and conclusion (5 mins)
GSOO:
- High level review of results by Steve Cronin (15 mins)
- Feedback from you on the results (20 mins)
- Ideas for improvements to the GSOO report (20 mins)
- Summary and conclusion (5 mins)
