Final Notice to Market – NCAS ITT 2008
This final notice provides:
- the quantity of those services procured for each region; and
- the estimated annual cost for the provision of network control ancillary services.
This notice is published to satisfy Rules 3.11.5 (l) and (m).
Information included in this notice also satisfies the annual publication of NCAS information required by Rule 3.13.5.

Interim Notice to Market – NCAS ITT 2008
- Network Loading Control Ancillary Services (NLCAS) for the Victoria region;
- Reactive Power Ancillary Services (RPAS) in generating mode for the New South Wales region; and
- RPAS in synchronous condensor mode in the Tasmania region.
NCAS has been procured for the period nominally from 1 July 2008 until 30 June 2011 with an option to extend the term by an additional 12 months.
Phase 2 has now commenced, to acquire RPAS in synchronous condensor mode in the New South Wales and Queensland regions.
The Phase 2 tender process is expected to be completed by the end of October 2008. The Phase 2 RPAS is to be procured until 30 June 2011 with an option to extend this term by an additional 12 months.

This notice informs Registered Participants about the outcomes of the Phase 1 tender process and provides:
- the estimated annual cost for the provision of network control ancillary services; and
- the quantity of those services procured (or to be procured) for each region is provided.
This notice is published to satisfy Rules 3.11.5 (l) and (m).
