Metrology Reference Group

The Metrology Reference Group (MRG) is made up of appropriately skilled people from Distribution Network Service Providers, Retailers, and Metering Service Providers within the NEM. AEMO does not specify specific qualifications for participation, as there is an expectation that industry only nominates people with a spread of skills and experience within regulatory, metrology and business process areas across the NEM.

Members of the MRG will be expected to meet regularly through the year to develop advice for the Retail Market Executive Committee (RMEC) on metrology matters, and provide quality assurance for metrology activities conducted by AEMO on behalf of industry.
