This explanatory document has been prepared to outline the roles of the responsible person, network service provider, metering provider, metering data provider, and financially responsible market participant in the National Electricity Market.
Although the document seeks to provide an explanation of the roles of these participants, only the National Electricity Rules can be relied on as the correct legal position.
