Reserve Forecasts

MTPASA results are used to understand the supply/demand outlook in the medium term; provide information to generators regarding planned maintenance of generating units and provide triggers for AEMO to address forecast reserve shortfalls.

The MTPASA results are published as a .csv file at: http://www.nemweb.com.au/REPORTS/CURRENT/Medium_Term_PASA_Reports/ .

The following document is provided as a guide to the key reserve forecast information published in the public MTPASA file.
