STPASA Process Description

Short Term Projected Assessment of System Adequacy (ST PASA) is the primary tool used to assess the expected supply and demand of electricity for six days starting from the end of the current predispatch period. It is currently run every two hours with half hourly resolution.

It was designed to satisfy the requirements for National Electricity Rules, Chapter 3.7.3.
