Failure of Market or Market Systems SO_OP3706

The purpose of this document is to describe the actions taken by AEMO in response to a failure of Market Systems and also to describe the process for managing market suspensions. The following events are considered:

• failure of one or more elements of the market IT Systems
• complete or partial failure of one of the NDSC sites
• a major power system failure

Changes in this version include:

• Template changes and clarified when the spot market is resumed
• The spot market remains suspended until the declaration is revoked by AEMO informing the registered participants that the spot market operation can resume
