2009 Annual Metering Report
The 2009 Annual Metering Report is prepared in accordance with clause 7.13 of the National Electricity Rules. The report for 2009 is presented in three parts that are published separately:
- Part A, which addresses the requirements of 7.13(c) of the Rules, considers the application of evolving technologies and evolving processes within the NEM.
- Part B, which addresses the requirements of 7.13(d) of the Rules looks at the impact of retail competition on the wholesale market, specifically in relation to Demand Side Participation.
- Part C, which addresses the requirements of 7.13(e) of the Rules provides AEMO’s assessment of areas of the Rules where work may be required to develop amendments to the Rules to accommodate evolving technologies and processes.
