Constraint Formulation Guidelines

The Constraint Formulation Guidelines (CFG), has been written to satisfy the requirement in NER 3.8.10(c). It sets out principles for translating these restrictions into (i.e. formulating) constraint equations, grouped by type or purpose. The CFG also covers the life cycle of constraint equations from business requirement identification through to notification of application in the operation of the NEM, and the process for applying and removing constraint equations from the dispatch process.
