Pre-Dispatch Spot Price Sensitivities Definitions

Clause 3.13.4(h) of the National Electricity Rules places the following obligation on AEMO in respect of publishing spot price sensitivities:

"Together with its forecasts of the spot prices, AEMO must publish details of the expected sensitivity of the forecast spot price to changes in the forecast load or generating unit availability."

To meet this obligation, AEMO runs a separate half-hourly Pre-dispatch calculation for each spot price sensitivity scenario. This paper summarises the current set of spot price sensitivity scenarios.
