Invitation to Tender (ITT) for Construction, Ownership and Operation of Tarrone Terminal Station
AEMO invites tenders from interested parties who have the capability to build, own and operate a transmission terminal station at Tarrone in Victoria.
This proposed terminal station, which has been classified as a contestable augmentation, will facilitate the connection of Macarthur Wind Farm, and potentially other power generators at a later stage, to the Victorian transmission network.
Tenderers are invited to submit their proposals for the construction ownership and operation of the proposed Tarrone Terminal Station. This should include but is not limited to the following:
- Detailed design;
- Site preparation;
- Procurement of plant and equipment;
- Construction;
- Co-ordination of interface works with other transmission network service providers’ assets;
- Testing and commissioning by 1 May 2012; and
- Use of the Tarrone Terminal Station for the delivery of network services for an initial period of 30 years.
